How keyword matching works
We look for common skills and tools (SQL, Tableau, budgeting, stakeholder management and about 150 more) and for words the job description repeats. Each one is checked against your resume, including simple word forms (forecast / forecasting).
Close the gap without stuffing
Only add skills you have. Put them inside a bullet that shows how you used them, and in your Skills section. A list of pasted keywords can hurt you with the human who reads it next.
Pro: tailor for each job
Job Hunt Sprint Pro (planned) shows the full gap, keeps up to 10 job-specific versions and suggests bullet rewrites for each job, using only your real experience. See pricing.
FAQ
Should I copy every keyword from the job description?
No. Add the skills you really have, in context. Keyword stuffing can hurt with human readers.
Does it cost anything?
Checks, your score, the top 5 fixes and the parsed-text view cost nothing and need no account. Pro features are marked with a lock.
Is my resume uploaded or stored?
No. Your file is read in your browser and this prototype runs every check on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, stored or used to train models.
